Social Shield - Putting You on the Path to Safety is taking the initiative by dealing with the dangers of involuntary intoxication through the development of our chemical detecting straws, with intent to prevent the high numbers of drug facilitated assault from rising even further.  These straws are made of paper based material that contain tiny fibers, which biodegrade when a GHB or date rape drug is detected.  More specifically, when our customers look down at their drink and realize that their straw has dissolved, this indicates a spiked drink.
